This has been a very stressful and unprecedented period for everyone for obvious reasons. The financial markets continue to show extreme levels of daily volatility and US stock markets are now down over 20% from their peak.

Plan of MA & RI investment portfolios are constructed with the understanding that financial markets will become more challenged at times.  For this exact reason all investment portfolios are constructed in a diversified manner with stocks, bonds and cash.  Plan of MA & RI portfolios have seen their values fall less than the headline stock market losses in 2020.

Currently our advice to all investors is to stay the course and not to panic. The markets have been through challenging times like this before and have always rewarded patient long-term investors who did not overreact to short term volatility.
