PLAN of MA & RI and Road to Responsibility, Inc. Announce Partnership

Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Inc. (PLAN of MA & RI; www.planofma-ri.org/), announces a new partnership with Road to Responsibility, Inc. (RTR) focused on making lives better for all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).  In support of this partnership, PLAN of MA & RI recently committed $25,000 toward Road to Responsibility, Inc. This gift was formalized at a check presentation ceremony held earlier this month.

PLAN of MA & RI is a nonprofit organization proudly serving people with disabilities and assisting them with preserving assets, protecting access to public benefits, and living well.  Road to Responsibility, Inc. strives to serve everyone who is referred to them regardless of their clinical, behavioral or medical needs.

Special Needs Trusts are important financial vehicles for people with disabilities as they can preserve assets and protect eligibility for public benefits.  This partnership will help educate individuals and families affiliated with Road to Responsibility, Inc. about the critical need for financial security.

Road to Responsibility, Inc. believes that ALL persons with I/DD deserve the opportunity to take their rightful place in the community as fully engaged citizens.  As such, RTR tends to serve more individuals with significant emotional, behavioral, and medical challenges than most other human services providers.
